Cura del Futbol's Eriberto Erlantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Hotz in the 8th minute of play. When Froilan Fresco fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cura del Futbol's protests and gave Froilan Fresco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Froilan Fresco got a free kick in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Gregorio Hotz could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Eriberto Erlantz however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Cura del Futbol's Eriberto Erlantz got control of the ball when Aaron Cutberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eriberto Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Hotz in the 21st minute of play. Jorge Iztal came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cura del Futbol's Alfred Pawelczyk. But to his dismay, Alfred Pawelczyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jorge Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Pawelczyk in the 31st minute of play. Cura del Futbol's Alfred Pawelczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eriberto Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Arotza in the 37th minute of play. Froilan Fresco was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 43rd match minute, Cura del Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Fresco to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Hotz came free, but Eriberto Erlantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Erlantz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristo Elia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 45 minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Hasan Turan made a kick off. In the 55th minute Cristo Elia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Erlantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Erlantz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Elia, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The Cura del Futbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Erlantz should have stopped the shot. Espirillo FC's Joaquim Fernandes was substituted for Aaron Cutberto. 72 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Hotz came free, but Eriberto Erlantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Elia in the 74th minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Eriberto Erlantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Hotz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Erlantz was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Joaquim Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Espirillo FC had won after a very even match.
