Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Soda f c's Zézinho Moraes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dante Rafe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Gavino Belarmo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zézinho Moraes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Negroni in the 12th minute of play forced Soda f c's goalkeeper Andy Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Rafe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andy Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Gavino Belarmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Moraes in the 26th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Zézinho Moraes put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gavino Belarmo. Gavino Belarmo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zézinho Moraes in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Metapalo FC booed when Soda f c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Gregory didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zézinho Moraes might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Belarmo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zézinho Moraes ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Gavino Belarmo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zézinho Moraes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zézinho Moraes got free with Gavino Belarmo in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Negroni was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Valentin Negroni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Zézinho Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gavino Belarmo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andy Garcia made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Dante Rafe sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Rafe in the 67th minute of play forced Soda f c's goalkeeper Andy Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andy Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Negroni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Soda f c's Günalp Parskan was substituted for Victorino Nesto. 75 minutes into the game, Niculae Turdeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soda f c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metapalo FC the free kick. Andy Garcia had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Humberto Rodrigues's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Soda f c's Ümit Daman was substituted for Zézinho Moraes. Ümit Daman scored 3-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavino Belarmo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd match minute, Soda f c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Beltran to maneuver through the defense. Gavino Belarmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ümit Daman in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Valentin Negroni fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ümit Daman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gavino Belarmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. If Ümit Daman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ümit Daman in the 98th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Metapalo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Soda f c.
