Deportivo Balvanera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Bertoni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Deportivo Balvanera fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Deportivo Balvanera's Lisandro López looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 18th match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Jakes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Candido Jakes got a free kick in the 19th minute. Ricardo Bertoni struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Abel Neron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA IMPRENTA. Abel Neron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Berto in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Ricardo Bertoni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA IMPRENTA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. LA IMPRENTA made a substitution. Elpidio Espiridion replaced Ricardo Bertoni. LA IMPRENTA's Bruno Sepúlveda was substituted for Armando Farias. 32 minutes into the game, Aaron Duarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Milito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Chang Hong came free, but Abel Neron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Espiridion, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Koldobika to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Espiridion came free, but Abel Neron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, LA IMPRENTA's Elpidio Espiridion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Neron was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 54th minute, Ciccio Vitullo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match Severiano Taurino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardino Mark showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elpidio Espiridion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Abel Neron made a huge save. The supporters of LA IMPRENTA booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Dayam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liu Chang Hong, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lorenzo Berto charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
