The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Cloyo got free with Ramon Lopez in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 12 minutes Corralito AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuele Pellecchia who took care of the corner kick. Noqueces FC's Emanuele Pellecchia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ramon Lopez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bebeto Chaves in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Cordaro saved Noqueces FC from getting behind. Keith Langley kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Igor Cordaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ramon Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Olentzaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Noqueces FC got a freekick which was hit by Bialet Massé. 35 minutes in the game, Ildefonso Olentzaro dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Ildefonso Olentzaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Corralito AFC's Ramon Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Olentzaro in the 45th minute of play. Ramon Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Olentzaro in the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustaquio Cloyo to make the kick off.
