Jonatan Bortzaioriz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Santos's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio Santos in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonatan Bortzaioriz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Noqueces FC's Igor Cordaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abayhan Nedret in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Noqueces FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Lembeck was slow to take the kick. During this time Cañada Juniors's players had a chance to rest. After 21 minutes Cañada Juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Magne Holmgren who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Noqueces FC's Emanuel Barreto to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonatan Bortzaioriz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Noqueces FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Magne Holmgren in the 22nd minute. Noqueces FC's Ali Perker was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonatan Bortzaioriz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Antônio Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Bortzaioriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Antônio Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Bortzaioriz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antônio Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonatan Bortzaioriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Santos in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th minute Antônio Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antônio Santos to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Batista got free with Igor Cordaro in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Barreto during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute Eustaquio Cloyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The match ended in a win for Noqueces FC.
