The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Characate FC's Benjamin Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Ferran in the 2nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Ferran in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Price prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute Nereo Serapio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Ferran in the 15th minute of the match. If Steve Burmeister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s Costin Ivasiuc was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benjamin Price in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 29 minutes into the game, ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s Steve Burmeister nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 47th minute, Camilo Ferran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Price was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The Characate FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Camilo Ferran made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Serapio got free with Benjamin Price in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Characate FC's David Lidman got a free kick in the 54th minute. Benjamin Price was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nereo Serapio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 55 minute of play. When Gerardo Santikurtz came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Characate FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Santikurtz couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Rashid Paddington hit a great ball. With his leg Benjamin Price managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s Steve Burmeister fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benjamin Price was a little too slow when Steve Burmeister got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. Jose Nuñez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Characate FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Steve Burmeister scored to the left of an out of position Benjamin Price, making the score, 1-6. Jose Nuñez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Santikurtz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Gerardo Santikurtz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Characate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Santikurtz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luciano Federigo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
