The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adan Lartaun was a little too slow when Alejandro Glaría got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Quilmes's Adan Lartaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Glaría in the 9th minute of play. Adan Lartaun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejandro Glaría's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes Quilmes got a freekick which was hit by 柳冰鹏. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quilmes's goalkeeper Adan Lartaun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ediberto Righi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Dolcet in the 17th minute of play. Ediberto Righi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Laurendi in the 19th minute of the match. Ediberto Righi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Nataniel's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Quilmes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucas Nataniel in the 22nd minute. A well done corner resulted in 柳冰鹏 drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind lןןl La Coconeta's goalkeeper. Horacio Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ediberto Righi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute of the match, Alejandro Glaría tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adan Lartaun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Francis in the 33rd minute of play forced lןןl La Coconeta's goalkeeper Ediberto Righi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ediberto Righi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ediberto Righi came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Quilmes's Horacio Francis. But to his dismay, Horacio Francis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. José Luis Sánchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Adan Lartaun made a huge save. After the first half Quilmes were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Nataniel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Quilmes's Cristobal Weterio was substituted for Amanda Månsson. Adan Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Glaría in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Glaría in the 63rd minute of play forced Quilmes's goalkeeper Adan Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When lןןl La Coconeta's Alejandro Glaría in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Javier Sanguinetti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adan Lartaun. Quilmes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Quilmes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
