Victorino Quintin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the game, Angelino Clemencin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victorino Quintin. Angelino Clemencin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Victorino Quintin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Mendebal's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Marcial Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Cesario, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Victorino Quintin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Victorino Quintin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Esdras in the 77th minute of the match. Isidro Chorache's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcial Orlandus firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 82nd minute Paulo Pierres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Quintin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Orlandus came out of the goal and Nemesio Cesario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guanacos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
