La Vieja Guarida FC were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after AZURDUY F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raul Quinteros took the corner. In the 9th match minute, AZURDUY F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Etxatxu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in AZURDUY F.C.'s zone, Faustino Lizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Iigo came out of the goal and Faustino Lizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Emilio Gotzon fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AZURDUY F.C.'s protests and gave Emilio Gotzon a yellow card for diving instead. Emilio Gotzon kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Teodosio Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Quinteros in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yağızhan Korgan in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodosio Iigo saved AZURDUY F.C. from getting behind. Raul Quinteros went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Mihăiţă Iuonaș got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teodosio Iigo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, La Vieja Guarida FC's Apolo Erroman got control of the ball when Tom Hermansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Tom Hermansson sped through La Vieja Guarida FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Apolo Erroman. Teodosio Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Lizar in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Niclas Füllkrug could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Apolo Erroman however easily saved by the left post. In the 40th minute of the match AZURDUY F.C. got a corner. La Vieja Guarida FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Károly Bogdán ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tom Hermansson made a great header on AZURDUY F.C.'s corner, it was just that La Vieja Guarida FC's Apolo Erroman managed to reach the ball for a save. Apolo Erroman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Hermansson in the 44th minute of play.

After some careless play in the AZURDUY F.C. defense, Raul Quinteros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodosio Iigo. The AZURDUY F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodosio Iigo should have stopped the shot. 53 minutes into the game, La Vieja Guarida FC's Faustino Lizar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodosio Iigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Lizar got free with Teodosio Iigo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When La Vieja Guarida FC's Elias Ereinotz in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Apolo Erroman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Füllkrug, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, La Vieja Guarida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Hermansson came free, but Apolo Erroman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Ereinotz in the 82nd minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Valerio hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. La Vieja Guarida FC's Emanuel Oliviero was substituted for Mariusz Chlapowski. Apolo Erroman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Faustino Lizar notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of AZURDUY F.C.'s Teodosio Iigo. Teodosio Iigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. La Vieja Guarida FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
