Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Papillon AC booed when La Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilis Pečiukas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Tolino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zosimo Vadillo went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Papillon AC from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Tolino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Jerano in the 15th minute of the match. When Arnoldo Cambiasso came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the La Fenix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Cambiasso couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, La Fenix's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Jerano came free, but Eliseo Tolino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Tolino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zosimo Vadillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Arnoldo Cambiasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jean Van Damme made a huge save. In the 27th minute Ayrton Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Van Damme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ayrton Senna made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 29thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Jean Van Damme would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Jean Van Damme came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by La Fenix's Patricio Hernandez. But to his dismay, Patricio Hernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Cambiasso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean Van Damme was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Cambiasso in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean Van Damme saved Papillon AC from getting behind. Eliseo Tolino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Jerano went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goalkeeper Jean Van Damme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ayrton Senna. After 42 played minutes La Fenix got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Cesario. Eliseo Tolino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Jerano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Papillon AC were awarded a corner. Gustavo Birila went to the cornerflag to take it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 56th minute, Eloy Truylos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Fenix's Eliseo Tolino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save La Fenix from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Tolino made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Sergio Jerano sent off a good shot on target. Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayrton Senna in the 65th minute of play. Eliseo Tolino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Jerano, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Eliseo Tolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Jerano in the 70th minute of play. Papillon AC were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after La Fenix's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Birila took the corner. The corner led Papillon AC's Sergio Jerano to fire away a dangerous shot which Eliseo Tolino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, La Fenix's goalkeeper Eliseo Tolino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Birila. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Eliseo Tolino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eliseo Tolino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Jerano in the 79th minute. Eliseo Tolino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Birila, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Emilis Pečiukas kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. With his leg Eliseo Tolino managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, La Fenix's Eliseo Tolino got control of the ball when Sergio Jerano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zosimo Vadillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseo Tolino having to make a save.
