Tom Lillepuu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Owen in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Atlético Montserrat's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Karp came free, but Jesus Luke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bassam Ghalib in the 8th minute of play. Domingo Ignatius scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jesus Luke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jesus Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Ignatius in the 22nd minute of play. Tom Lillepuu made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Robert Boruta sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Laprida's goalkeeper Tom Lillepuu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qu Sen Yan. Jesus Luke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Ignatius in the 32nd minute of the match. Jesus Luke came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Laprida's Domingo Ignatius. But to his dismay, Domingo Ignatius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Laprida booed when Atlético Montserrat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Boruta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Ignatius in the 45th minute of play forced Atlético Montserrat's goalkeeper Jesus Luke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, Laprida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 梅凡夕 to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After 52 minutes of play, Atlético Montserrat's Robert Boruta made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tom Lillepuu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 崔光笑 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Lillepuu having to interfere. Tom Lillepuu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qu Sen Yan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute Michael Owen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Lillepuu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Laprida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnaba Karp to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Atlético Montserrat's Bernardo Calvet got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Atlético Montserrat's Qu Sen Yan in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laprida's goalie prevented a goal. Tom Lillepuu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Owen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Laprida getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Tadeo Herrera hit a great ball. When Atlético Montserrat's 崔光笑 in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laprida's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th minute Laprida were awarded a corner. Ramon Mino went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Barnaba Karp heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Tom Lillepuu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 崔光笑, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, 崔光笑 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tom Lillepuu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 94 minutes into the match, Robert Boruta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tom Lillepuu. Laprida's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Boruta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Laprida's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
