The audience was convinced that Acácio Nogueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efrain Guillem was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the game, Acácio Nogueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Efrain Guillem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Acácio Nogueira took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Efrain Guillem to make any attempt to save it. If Marcial Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcial Ourente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ni Le Zheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Flores Arlt were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after AC Batán's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edelmiro Osmundo took the corner. Ni Le Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Ourente in the 36th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcial Ourente to make the kick off. After 62 minutes of play, AC Batán's Acácio Nogueira made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efrain Guillem was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ni Le Zheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Acácio Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efrain Guillem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Acácio Nogueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Batán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. AC Batán's Cido Cardozo was substituted for Acácio Nogueira. AC Batán's Lautaro Martinez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gerardo Bedoya, made in the 81st minute of the game. If Cido Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 81 minutes into the match, Flores Arlt's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Cardozo came free, but Efrain Guillem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Cido Cardozo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flores Arlt's Efrain Guillem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Flores Arlt's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Cardozo came free, but Efrain Guillem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ni Le Zheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabin Răchită, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
