Cornelio Cordearo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854. 4 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Martin-Daniel Palermo came free, but Cornelio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Eladio hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the game, Lucas Eladio threw the ball into play from the sideline. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Sotos Kastaniou quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 10th minute Martin-Daniel Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin-Daniel Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Sotos Kastaniou threw the ball into play from the sideline. Racing Club's Lucas Eladio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 21st minute, Martin-Daniel Palermo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Cordearo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 31stth minute of the game Martin-Daniel Palermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Luciano Pirro got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Uriel Lano got control of the ball when Luciano Pirro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornelio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin-Daniel Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sotos Kastaniou was slow to take the kick. During this time CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's players had a chance to rest. 40 minutes into the match, Luciano Pirro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Uriel Lano. Uriel Lano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin-Daniel Palermo was the one to do the kick off. Cornelio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin-Daniel Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Pirro in the 52nd minute of play. Homer Field replaced Efmamjjasond Bronco. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Martin-Daniel Palermo got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Bonifacio Bartoli was substituted for Bartolo Ortzi. Cornelio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin-Daniel Palermo in the 72nd minute of play. Sven-Arne Hellsing took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornelio Cordearo. Cornelio Cordearo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Lano in the 77th minute of play forced CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's goalkeeper Uriel Lano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Arne Hellsing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Cornelio Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 defense, Ramiro Lano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uriel Lano. The CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Lano should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Sven-Arne Hellsing fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Homer Field scored 3-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Lano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Racing Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
