With an all-out effort, Congo Bongo's 胡朗银 threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Froilan Iaki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Máté Márton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Nesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 16 minutes, Sixto Nesto made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Congo Bongo's Máté Márton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Congo Bongo's Damaso Sancho fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Wu Hong Ning made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sergio Austin immediately put the ball in play. Damaso Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 胡朗银 could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Damaso Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for 胡朗银 to make any attempt to save it. When Congo Bongo's Froilan Iaki in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sixto Nesto ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Nesto came free, but Máté Márton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37thth minute of the game Damaso Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lucio Quieto's 胡朗银 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Lucio Quieto's Sixto Nesto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Máté Márton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After 47 played minutes Lucio Quieto got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Nesto. After the first half Lucio Quieto were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixto Nesto to make the kick off. Máté Márton was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Sixto Nesto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sixto Nesto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Congo Bongo's Máté Márton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Nesto in the 68th minute of play. Máté Márton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Nesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Congo Bongo's Máté Márton got control of the ball when Sixto Nesto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Congo Bongo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Andersson to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lucio Quieto eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
