In the 2nd match minute, BARRILETE COSMICO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Servando to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute of the match Thibault Moon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesus Llope skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Thibault Moon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres de Escalada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thibault Moon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Miran Moco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesus Llope. BARRILETE COSMICO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miran Moco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Abaurre came free, but Martin Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miran Moco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jesus Llope firmly grabbed it by the left post. Talleres de Escalada's Martin Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Abaurre in the 23rd minute of play. BARRILETE COSMICO's Jesus Llope proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save BARRILETE COSMICO from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verner Nordin in the 29th minute of play forced BARRILETE COSMICO's goalkeeper Jesus Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by BARRILETE COSMICO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thibault Moon was slow to take the kick. During this time Talleres de Escalada's players had a chance to rest. Miran Moco kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 played minutes BARRILETE COSMICO got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Servando. In the 38th minute Justino Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel Messi in the 43rd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Attilio Casciano made a kick off. Martin Leheren made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Lázaro Hulberto sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's Miran Moco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Llope narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Martin Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Remigio Feliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jesus Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Luis Avellaneda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BARRILETE COSMICO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres de Escalada the free kick. The supporters of BARRILETE COSMICO booed when Talleres de Escalada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Llope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Casciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Talleres de Escalada fans cheered their team off the field, for while BARRILETE COSMICO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
