Domenico Marongiu was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s players had a chance to rest. Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Gualterio Videl managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Abelardo Domenec in the 25 minute of the game. 刘飞翔's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Aguilera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Jyrki Sillanpää got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th match minute, Los Hijos de Doña Beija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Sandaili to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Venancio Sandaili got a free kick in the 91st minute. The Los Hijos de Doña Beija supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Hijos de Doña Beija would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
