After taking down the ball on Luganeros AFC's corner Roland Oleszak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hipolito Igon quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yu Quan Di in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hipolito Igon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eduardo Liher might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hipolito Igon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Liher ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabriel Porfiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro got control of the ball when Haroldo Turi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Porfiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Generoso Navarro went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Luganeros AFC made a substitution. Eliseo Bittor replaced Janusz Ziemniak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Cabañas in the 70th minute of play forced Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Luganeros AFC defense, Haroldo Turi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Porfiro. The Luganeros AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Porfiro should have stopped the shot. Hipolito Igon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hipolito Igon made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Rey Ronaldo sent off a good shot on target. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
