Black Country AFC's Dion Hammond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guy Graydon in the 3rd minute of play. Dion Hammond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guy Graydon in the 6th minute of play. If Kieran Clark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shaun Pritchard kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Malcolm Osborn was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Mickey Frost capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mickey Frost really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mickey Frost got free with Malcolm Osborn in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dion Hammond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kieran Clark, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Dion Hammond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kieran Clark in the 18th minute of the match. If Guy Graydon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malcolm Osborn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denny Moxon in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mickey Frost got free with Malcolm Osborn in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 45 in the game by Mickey Frost from a close distance when the talented Malcolm Osborn managed to make a qualified save. Southam City's players were relieved. Shaun Pritchard charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shaun Pritchard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mickey Frost let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 49th minute shot 2-1 at rihgt post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guy Graydon was the one to do the kick off. Black Country AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Guy Graydon scored to the left of an out of position Dion Hammond, making the score, 2-2. Wes Hay kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 69th minute Guy Graydon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dion Hammond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Kieran Clark kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dion Hammond. That made the score 2-3 in the 70 minute of play. Mickey Frost received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Malcolm Osborn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Black Country AFC's James Coombe tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Malcolm Osborn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grant Millman's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When Mickey Frost came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Black Country AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mickey Frost couldn't finish the play. Dion Hammond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guy Graydon in the 99th minute of the match. Mickey Frost's late challenge caught a Southam City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mickey Frost helped the player get up and apologised. The Southam City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
