Ben Vaughan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Bryant in the 8th minute of play. Teign City's Theo Bryant got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Theo Bryant came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Teign City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theo Bryant couldn't finish the play. Ben Vaughan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Wildman, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ben Vaughan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Theo Bryant went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Teign City's goalkeeper Rueben Botham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Billy Seward. Billy Seward came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rueben Botham could save by the left post. Andy Wildman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Duncan Moody managed to get in a good position for a shot. High Hesket City's supporters rose to their feet, but Duncan Moody was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rueben Botham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 minutes, Harvey Hoskins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teign City and the High Hesket City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marty Tucker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marty Tucker in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rueben Botham saved Teign City from getting behind. The High Hesket City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Teign City were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Marty Tucker made the kick off in the second half. When Harvey Hoskins was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 52 minutes had been played. The supporters of High Hesket City booed when Teign City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey Hoskins didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 minutes of play, Teign City's Theo Bryant made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ben Vaughan was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Ben Vaughan managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Teign City's Theo Bryant fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Theo Bryant kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ben Vaughan. That made the score 0-3 in the 65 minute of play. After 68 minutes, Theo Bryant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teign City and the High Hesket City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Theo Bryant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teign City's Rueben Botham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Russ Weeks in the 69th minute of play. Billy Seward kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Billy Seward struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Rueben Botham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for High Hesket City. Duncan Moody sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Russ Weeks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billy Seward received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rueben Botham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Billy Seward cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Rueben Botham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jamal Nailor hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, Teign City's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Seward came free, but Rueben Botham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teign City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
