Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Belper's Leon Deacon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Shaun Nethercoat came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Somivac fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shaun Nethercoat couldn't finish the play. Leon Deacon took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jasper Sissons. Jasper Sissons dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keiran Boxall got free with Jerry Wright in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Somivac fc booed when Belper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wayne Avery didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Shaun Nethercoat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Wright saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shaun Nethercoat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Wright having to interfere. If Shaun Nethercoat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keiran Boxall might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerry Wright. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Keiran Boxall ran back to his position shaking his head. Jerry Wright took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shaun Nethercoat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerry Wright showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shaun Nethercoat, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Jerry Wright was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Shaun Nethercoat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. After 45 played minutes Belper got a freekick which was hit by Leo Langdon. With a little luck, Belper's Jerry Wright got control of the ball when Keiran Boxall tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shaun Nethercoat to strike the kick off in the second half. Jasper Sissons made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfie Day in the 52nd minute. After 55 played minutes Belper got a freekick which was hit by Doug Blewitt. Keiran Boxall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Wright having to interfere. Jasper Sissons made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Alfie Day sent off a good shot on target. If Shaun Nethercoat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Somivac fc's Shaun Nethercoat got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jerry Wright stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shaun Nethercoat's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Shaun Nethercoat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Somivac fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shaun Nethercoat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Shaun Nethercoat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keiran Boxall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerry Wright read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. If Shaun Nethercoat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keiran Boxall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerry Wright made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shaun Nethercoat in the 90th minute of play. Jerry Wright came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Somivac fc's Keiran Boxall. But to his dismay, Keiran Boxall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With a little luck, Somivac fc's Jasper Sissons got control of the ball when Doug Blewitt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Somivac fc walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
