Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Patrick Shephard kicked off to start the match. When Leon Archer fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rising Bridge AFC's protests and gave Leon Archer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rising Bridge AFC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Leon Archer hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Gaz Lamb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trevor Archer. Rising Bridge AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaz Lamb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 11th minute Patrick Shephard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Battersby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Shephard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st match minute, Leeds FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Notley to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Rising Bridge AFC's Trevor Archer got control of the ball when Gaz Lamb tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Gaz Lamb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trevor Archer. Rising Bridge AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaz Lamb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Leeds FC's Gaz Lamb got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 48 minutes, Gaz Lamb made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rising Bridge AFC's Trevor Archer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Trey Kitchen made a kick off. Trey Kitchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 57 minutes, Trey Kitchen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leeds FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trey Kitchen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rising Bridge AFC's Trevor Archer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trey Kitchen in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match Charles Sparkes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Trevor Archer skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaz Lamb in the 72nd minute of play forced Rising Bridge AFC's goalkeeper Trevor Archer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gaz Lamb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Phil Hallam's late challenge caught a Leeds FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phil Hallam helped the player get up and apologised. Phil Hallam hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Trey Kitchen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rising Bridge AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Day was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrick Shephard might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierre Battersby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrick Shephard ran back to his position shaking his head. Greg Hales hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
