The audience was convinced that Trey Kitchen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerry Wright was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Gaz Lamb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Jerry Wright made a huge save. Gaz Lamb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfie Day sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leeds FC played a much better game than Belper and deserved their victory. The Belper players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
