Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 8th minute, Bob Kingston reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rob Dimmock. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 12th minute Bob Kingston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Dimmock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Theo Bensley in the 17th minute really tested Rob Dimmock's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Greg Graydon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 22nd playminute. In the 27th minute, Jermaine Ellerby left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fawards fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Fawards's Garth Lamb suffered a concussion in the 30th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Fawards's Rob Dimmock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Fawards from getting a goal against them. Rob Dimmock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasey Chipperfield in the 38th minute of the match. Toby Flynn struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Charles Wild didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fawards. The crowd rose to their feet as Bob Kingston kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rob Dimmock. That made the score 3-1 in the 41 minute of play. Rob Dimmock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Kingston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Fawards getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Toby Flynn hit a great ball. Fawards's Rob Dimmock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Kingston in the 58th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bob Kingston in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rob Dimmock saved Fawards from getting behind. Jermaine Ellerby hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Bob Kingston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rob Dimmock having to interfere. Rob Dimmock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greg Graydon in the 68th minute of play. Rob Dimmock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greg Graydon, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Rich Cotterill came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Chesham United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rich Cotterill couldn't finish the play. Rob Dimmock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Kingston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greg Graydon struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Rob Dimmock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chesham United. After 76 minutes, Bob Kingston made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fawards's Rob Dimmock tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Bob Kingston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rob Dimmock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greg Graydon, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Rob Dimmock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greg Graydon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greg Graydon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Rob Dimmock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Greg Graydon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Fuller's late challenge caught a Chesham United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Fuller helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute of the match Kasey Chipperfield sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rob Dimmock skillfully saved the ball. Chesham United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
