After a defensive mix-up in Stjá Kjörvogi's zone, Axel Orrason stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Addi Kalmannsson came out of the goal and Axel Orrason tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Knörr Valdimarsson struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Addi Kalmannsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erco. In the 57th minute, Sigurnýjas Sigfússon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the game, Múli Valdimarsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stjá Kjörvogi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erco the free kick. The supporters of Erco booed when Stjá Kjörvogi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Múli Valdimarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
