An unexpectedly hard shot by Bóas Oddmarsson in the 16th minute of play forced Afköst Mývatni's goalkeeper Ingi Hallmundsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fylgd Hólmavík's zone, Ingiþór Ómarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
