Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aðalbergur Boðason kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute, Ráðgeir Jóhannesson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sigurjón Geraldsson. The goal made the score 1-0. Þorvarður Kolsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Oddmar Davíðsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ósvaldur Franklínsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Sigurjón Geraldsson made a huge save. In the 18th minute Aðalbergur Boðason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oddmar Davíðsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Hringur Hafbergsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hellas Vogum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hringur Hafbergsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ósvaldur Franklínsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oddmar Davíðsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermann Emilsson in the 25th minute of play. Aðalbergur Boðason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Oddmar Davíðsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hlíðar Eyþórsson fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hellas Vogum's protests and gave Hlíðar Eyþórsson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hellas Vogum's Hlíðar Eyþórsson got a free kick in the 27th minute. Sigurjón Geraldsson was a little too slow when Ráðgeir Jóhannesson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-0. Aðalbergur Boðason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Oddmar Davíðsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hellas Vogum's zone, Hermann Emilsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oddmar Davíðsson came out of the goal and Hermann Emilsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aðalbergur Boðason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sveinberg Ágústsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Oddmar Davíðsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Þorvarður Kolsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ráðgeir Jóhannesson made a kick off. Óskar Guðlaugsson hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Óttarr Kristbergsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Oddmar Davíðsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Hallfreður Fjalarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bjartmar Hannibalsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oddmar Davíðsson having to interfere. Aðalbergur Boðason blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oddmar Davíðsson having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Hellas Vogum's zone, Hermann Emilsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oddmar Davíðsson came out of the goal and Hermann Emilsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oddmar Davíðsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aðalbergur Boðason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ósvaldur Franklínsson in the 69th minute of play forced Goð Kópaskeri's goalkeeper Sigurjón Geraldsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermann Emilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Oddmar Davíðsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Goð Kópaskeri's Sigurjón Geraldsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ósvaldur Franklínsson in the 78th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Goð Kópaskeri's Hermann Emilsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oddmar Davíðsson. That made the score 2-1 after 79 minutes of play. Oddmar Davíðsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aðalbergur Boðason in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Hellas Vogum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hallfreður Fjalarsson to maneuver through the defense. Oddmar Davíðsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aðalbergur Boðason's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Hellas Vogum's Oddmar Davíðsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Hellas Vogum from getting a goal against them. Goð Kópaskeri's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Hellas Vogum had won, even though Goð Kópaskeri had held more of the ball.
