Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arthúr Hreiðarsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Engilbert Þrándsson in the 3rd minute of play forced Vakt Vogum's goalkeeper Höður Ketilsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Þorgautur Ágústsson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Vakt Vogum's Arthúr Hreiðarsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ísfang Akranesi. Vatnar Andrésson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Árni Sigmarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Árni Sigmarsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brimar Pálmarsson went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute, Vatnar Andrésson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arthúr Hreiðarsson in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Árni Sigmarsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arthúr Hreiðarsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Árni Sigmarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arthúr Hreiðarsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Arthúr Hreiðarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Árni Sigmarsson having to interfere. When Vakt Vogum's Arthúr Hreiðarsson in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ísfang Akranesi's goalie prevented a goal. After 30 minutes, Sigurmann Erlendsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vakt Vogum and the Ísfang Akranesi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Vakt Vogum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigurmann Erlendsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Engilbert Þrándsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Höður Ketilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Vakt Vogum getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Lýtingur Róbertsson hit a great ball. Róbert Davíðsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Höður Ketilsson. Vakt Vogum's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arthúr Hreiðarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Árni Sigmarsson having to interfere. If Vatnar Andrésson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brimar Pálmarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ísfang Akranesi's Árni Sigmarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthúr Hreiðarsson in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Engilbert Þrándsson made a kick off. Höður Ketilsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Engilbert Þrándsson in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Engilbert Þrándsson in the 54th minute of play forced Vakt Vogum's goalkeeper Höður Ketilsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vakt Vogum's Arthúr Hreiðarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ísfang Akranesi's Árni Sigmarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vatnar Andrésson in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Arthúr Hreiðarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Árni Sigmarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigurlaugur Kolbeinsson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Vatnar Andrésson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vakt Vogum's Arthúr Hreiðarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigurmann Erlendsson hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Vakt Vogum's goalkeeper Höður Ketilsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bjarnleifur Hermansson. When Vatnar Andrésson came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Vakt Vogum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vatnar Andrésson couldn't finish the play. When Vakt Vogum's Arthúr Hreiðarsson in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ísfang Akranesi's goalie prevented a goal. Árni Sigmarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vatnar Andrésson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Bjarnleifur Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Vatnar Andrésson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Árni Sigmarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arthúr Hreiðarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vélaugur Borgþórsson hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Arthúr Hreiðarsson took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Árni Sigmarsson. Árni Sigmarsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 96th minute, Arthúr Hreiðarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vakt Vogum walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
