Konstantínus Níelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jenni Randversson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Konstantínus Níelsson came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Útherji Súðavík's Sólbjörn Þorrason. But to his dismay, Sólbjörn Þorrason quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ársæll Hamarsson made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Gústav Borgþórsson sent off a good shot on target. Nikolas Hingsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Blævar Róbertsson had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristþór Kristbergsson during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Útherji Súðavík got a freekick which was hit by Kristþór Kristbergsson. Gústav Borgþórsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Ársæll Hamarsson made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Tröð Bíldudal's Nikolas Hingsson got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Sólbjörn Þorrason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantínus Níelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gústav Borgþórsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ársæll Hamarsson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Útherji Súðavík's zone, Kristbergur Þormóðsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ársæll Hamarsson came out of the goal and Kristbergur Þormóðsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Útherji Súðavík's Sólbjörn Þorrason got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, one of Tröð Bíldudal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tröð Bíldudal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
58 minutes into the match, Tröð Bíldudal's goalkeeper Konstantínus Níelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sólbjörn Þorrason. Gústav Borgþórsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Gústav Borgþórsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ársæll Hamarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samúel Ásgeirsson hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Gústav Borgþórsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ársæll Hamarsson having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Útherji Súðavík had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
