Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ellert Erlendsson kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Geirfinnur Sveinþórsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sigfastur Marvinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Stáss Ísafirði's Sigfastur Marvinsson got control of the ball when Geirfinnur Sveinþórsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 18 played minutes Stáss Ísafirði got a freekick which was hit by Vöggur Reynaldsson. Eðvar Reimarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haukvaldur Runólfsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eðvar Reimarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jafet Geirsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Stáss Ísafirði's Sigfastur Marvinsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Stáss Ísafirði from getting a goal against them. Herjólfur Brynjólfsson kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Strata Bæ's Ulrich Hrafnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulrich Hrafnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Ulrich Hrafnsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sigfastur Marvinsson was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Ulrich Hrafnsson put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sigfastur Marvinsson.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jafet Geirsson was the one to do the kick off. Haukvaldur Runólfsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eðvar Reimarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jafet Geirsson in the 54th minute of play. With his leg Eðvar Reimarsson managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Stáss Ísafirði's Haukvaldur Runólfsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Geirfinnur Sveinþórsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigfastur Marvinsson having to interfere. Ulrich Hrafnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Vöggur Reynaldsson fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stáss Ísafirði's protests and gave Vöggur Reynaldsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Vöggur Reynaldsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 minutes, Finnur Hallsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strata Bæ and the Stáss Ísafirði players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Stáss Ísafirði booed when Strata Bæ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finnur Hallsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Ulrich Hrafnsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sigfastur Marvinsson. Stáss Ísafirði's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulrich Hrafnsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Grettir Reyrsson hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. With his leg Eðvar Reimarsson managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Stáss Ísafirði's Haukvaldur Runólfsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The attack was good, but when Ulrich Hrafnsson in the 77th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Haukvaldur Runólfsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eðvar Reimarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haukvaldur Runólfsson ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 88 minutes, Geirfinnur Sveinþórsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strata Bæ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geirfinnur Sveinþórsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Ulrich Hrafnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gizur Baldursson charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gizur Baldursson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gizur Baldursson hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Strata Bæ fully deserved thier win.
