Dagur Skorrason took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einþór Hlöðversson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Númi Hrísey's Dagur Skorrason played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einþór Hlöðversson in the 16th minute of play. Ósvaldur Gunnbergsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ölver Almarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Númi Hrísey's Dagur Skorrason played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einþór Hlöðversson in the 19th minute of play. Fróðmar Halsson scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dagur Skorrason, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hartvig Þórhallsson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ketill Grenivík's Ósvaldur Gunnbergsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rósmann Eiðsson in the 25th minute of play. Fróðmar Halsson scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dagur Skorrason, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dagur Skorrason made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einþór Hlöðversson in the 42nd minute of play. Ölver Almarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ósvaldur Gunnbergsson having to interfere.

Dagur Skorrason took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einþór Hlöðversson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hartvig Þórhallsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ketill Grenivík fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! In the 62nd minute, Númi Hrísey got a penalty, and Rósmann Eiðsson placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Dagur Skorrason came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ketill Grenivík's Dvalinn Eyvindarson. But to his dismay, Dvalinn Eyvindarson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Sandri Erlingsson kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 78 minutes, Kristlaugur Atlason mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Númi Hrísey and the Ketill Grenivík players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ósvaldur Gunnbergsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ölver Almarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Ölver Almarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ósvaldur Gunnbergsson made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Ketill Grenivík's goalkeeper Ósvaldur Gunnbergsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ölver Almarsson. Ketill Grenivík's Ósvaldur Gunnbergsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ölver Almarsson in the 90th minute of play. Ósvaldur Gunnbergsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ölver Almarsson in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ketill Grenivík had won after a very even match.
