Mjölnir Snæbjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almar Axelsson having to interfere. Sigurpáll Ormarsson was a little too slow when Ingjaldur Jökulsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Hallmundur Snæsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Almar Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingjaldur Jökulsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Sigurpáll Ormarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sogafl Ólafsvík's Sigurpáll Ormarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Sogafl Ólafsvík from getting a goal against them. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ingjaldur Jökulsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Netis booed when Sogafl Ólafsvík was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eyríkur Freysson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Sogafl Ólafsvík players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Netis from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
