Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Benedikt Larsson made the kick off which started today's match. Þorgautur Hlöðversson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Snælaugur Andrason having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Hrútur Ingólfsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Embla Dalvík and the Namo Vogum players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Embla Dalvík got a freekick which was hit by Hrútur Ingólfsson. After having played for 19 minutes, Hergeir Þorkelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Namo Vogum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hergeir Þorkelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Embla Dalvík getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Hugleikur Bergþórsson hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Klængur Valsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedikt Larsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Embla Dalvík's goalkeeper Snælaugur Andrason had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Þorgautur Hlöðversson. Namo Vogum's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Styr Sturluson in the 29th minute. Hergeir Þorkelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Snælaugur Andrason having to interfere. If Benedikt Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Namo Vogum's goal looked a bit too open when Benedikt Larsson came free, but Hjálmtýr Samúelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Namo Vogum players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Embla Dalvík were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hergeir Þorkelsson to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Vésteinn Eyjólfsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Embla Dalvík's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vésteinn Eyjólfsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Namo Vogum's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vésteinn Eyjólfsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Benedikt Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Hjálmtýr Samúelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Þorgautur Hlöðversson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugleikur Bergþórsson during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Snælaugur Andrason made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Þorgautur Hlöðversson in the 65th minute of play. Hergeir Þorkelsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Snælaugur Andrason having to make a save. Vésteinn Eyjólfsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hrútur Ingólfsson kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Hergeir Þorkelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Þorgautur Hlöðversson came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Namo Vogum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Þorgautur Hlöðversson couldn't finish the play. Þorgautur Hlöðversson struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Snælaugur Andrason didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Namo Vogum. Þorgautur Hlöðversson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Embla Dalvík's Snælaugur Andrason played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Þorgautur Hlöðversson in the 89th minute of play. Snælaugur Andrason showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Þorgautur Hlöðversson, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Namo Vogum supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Embla Dalvík's performance. The match ended with a win for Embla Dalvík.
