Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Níels Dónaldsson got the match started through his kick off. Hraunkot Garði's Hilmar Dagsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steinmar Galdursson in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Krónan's Katarínus Ísleifsson got control of the ball when Hængur Traustason tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Krónan booed when Hraunkot Garði was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Áskell Dagfinnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abraham Þórðarson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Hraunkot Garði's Níels Dónaldsson in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Krónan's goalie prevented a goal. 21 minutes into the game, Hjálmtýr Patreksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hraunkot Garði's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Krónan the free kick. In the 22nd minute of the match Abraham Þórðarson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hilmar Dagsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Hængur Traustason notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Krónan's Katarínus Ísleifsson. Katarínus Ísleifsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the game, Hængur Traustason cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Katarínus Ísleifsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ásbergur Dalmarsson's late challenge caught a Krónan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ásbergur Dalmarsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Krónan booed when Hraunkot Garði was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ásbergur Dalmarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Aldar Hrolleifsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilmar Dagsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hængur Traustason recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Níels Dónaldsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krónan's Katarínus Ísleifsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Krónan from getting a goal against them. Hraunkot Garði were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Krónan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hafnar Steinsson took the corner. The corner ended in Hafnar Steinsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Krónan's Katarínus Ísleifsson did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steinmar Galdursson to make the kick off. Hilmar Dagsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steinmar Galdursson in the 56th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldar Hrolleifsson got free with Hilmar Dagsson in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Katarínus Ísleifsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Níels Dónaldsson in the 62nd minute of the match. Hængur Traustason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Katarínus Ísleifsson having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Fjölvar Arnaldsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Krónan and the Hraunkot Garði players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Krónan got a freekick which was hit by Fjölvar Arnaldsson. Hilmar Dagsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steinmar Galdursson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aldar Hrolleifsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Krónan's Aldar Hrolleifsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Aldar Hrolleifsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Katarínus Ísleifsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hængur Traustason, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Níels Dónaldsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Einir Traustason kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Katarínus Ísleifsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Níels Dónaldsson in the 97th minute of the match.
