Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Valdemar Víkingsson got the match started through his kick off. KBS Húsavík's Vékell Jósafatsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save KBS Húsavík from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Valdemar Víkingsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vékell Jósafatsson to make any attempt to save it. Hildimar Pálmarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vékell Jósafatsson having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Kristberg Arndórsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samson Róbertsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birgir Laufarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vékell Jósafatsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Víkingsson in the 21st minute of play. When KBS Húsavík's Birgir Laufarsson in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lindsay Flatey's goalie prevented a goal. 1-1 became the score in the 28th minute when Birgir Laufarsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Geir Sigurjónsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samson Róbertsson having to interfere. Samson Róbertsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geir Sigurjónsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Valdemar Víkingsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vékell Jósafatsson. That made the score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Birgir Laufarsson to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bent Pálsson in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vékell Jósafatsson saved KBS Húsavík from getting behind. Davíð Guðmundsson kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdemar Víkingsson in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vékell Jósafatsson saved KBS Húsavík from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Bent Pálsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lindsay Flatey's supporters rose to their feet, but Bent Pálsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vékell Jósafatsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute of the match, Birgir Laufarsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Samson Róbertsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 66th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Frank Kristjánsson hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. In the 73rd minute Valdemar Víkingsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vékell Jósafatsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar Víkingsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Geir Sigurjónsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Samson Róbertsson. Geir Sigurjónsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. If Geir Sigurjónsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
