Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Unnsteinn Galdursson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Methúsalem Þorrason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hyltir Gíslason having to interfere. Magnþór Sverrisson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Hyltir Gíslason tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sólon Pálsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Unnsteinn Galdursson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sólon Pálsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Unnsteinn Galdursson in the 13th minute of the match. Jónas Óskarsson made a great header on Mark Mývatni's corner, it was just that Breiðdalsvík's Sólon Pálsson managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Methúsalem Þorrason in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hyltir Gíslason prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reidar Högnason hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Eyþór Gabríelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bjólan Tryggvason kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Breiðdalsvík's Magnþór Sverrisson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hyltir Gíslason was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jónas Óskarsson charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jónas Óskarsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Jónas Óskarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Magnþór Sverrisson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Mark Mývatni's goalkeeper Hyltir Gíslason had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Methúsalem Þorrason. Methúsalem Þorrason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th minute Unnsteinn Galdursson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sólon Pálsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Breiðdalsvík's goal looked a bit too open when Eyþór Gabríelsson came free, but Sólon Pálsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eyþór Gabríelsson in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sólon Pálsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hyltir Gíslason made an important save on a dangerous shot by Methúsalem Þorrason in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd match minute, Mark Mývatni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Játmundur Hjálmtýsson to maneuver through the defense. Sólon Pálsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eyþór Gabríelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Breiðdalsvík's zone, Unnsteinn Galdursson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sólon Pálsson came out of the goal and Unnsteinn Galdursson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mark Mývatni's goalkeeper Hyltir Gíslason, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hyltir Gíslason made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnþór Sverrisson in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Unnsteinn Galdursson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mark Mývatni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Unnsteinn Galdursson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Methúsalem Þorrason took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hyltir Gíslason. Hyltir Gíslason dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.
