Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Álfgrímur Ellertsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kristlaugur Hákonsson's late challenge caught a Vaka Þórshöfn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristlaugur Hákonsson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Leirubakki's Kristlaugur Hákonsson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Leirubakki's goal looked a bit too open when Gellir Ingvarsson came free, but Samúel Dagþórsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Leirubakki's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrisíus Birkisson came free, but Samúel Dagþórsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Gellir Ingvarsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Leirubakki's Samúel Dagþórsson. Samúel Dagþórsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valgarður Bjargmundarson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gnýr Arnarson went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gnýr Arnarson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th match minute, Vaka Þórshöfn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Þorvaldur Jóhannesson to maneuver through the defense. Samúel Dagþórsson came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Vaka Þórshöfn's Gellir Ingvarsson. But to his dismay, Gellir Ingvarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Leirubakki's Samúel Dagþórsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrisíus Birkisson in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Leirubakki getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kristlaugur Hákonsson hit a great ball. Vaka Þórshöfn's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Flóki Bjarmason in the 32nd minute. The corner led Vaka Þórshöfn's Flóki Bjarmason to fire away a dangerous shot which Samúel Dagþórsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kristlaugur Hákonsson got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Leirubakki getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Kristlaugur Hákonsson hit a great ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Gellir Ingvarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vaka Þórshöfn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gellir Ingvarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabrisíus Birkisson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrisíus Birkisson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samúel Dagþórsson having to interfere. If Fabrisíus Birkisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gellir Ingvarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Samúel Dagþórsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabrisíus Birkisson made a kick off. A collision led to Leirubakki getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ófeigur Kjaransson hit a great ball. If Gellir Ingvarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gnýr Arnarson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leirubakki's Samúel Dagþórsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Leirubakki from getting a goal against them. Samúel Dagþórsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrisíus Birkisson in the 74th minute of play. If Gellir Ingvarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ríkarður Franklínsson kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Fabrisíus Birkisson in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Samúel Dagþórsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Svanhólm Másson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaka Þórshöfn's supporters rose to their feet, but Svanhólm Másson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samúel Dagþórsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th match minute, Vaka Þórshöfn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúter Valsson to maneuver through the defense. Samúel Dagþórsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrisíus Birkisson in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vaka Þórshöfn's zone, Álfgrímur Ellertsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valgarður Bjargmundarson came out of the goal and Álfgrímur Ellertsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gellir Ingvarsson got free with Samúel Dagþórsson in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Leirubakki supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vaka Þórshöfn's performance. The match ended with a win for Vaka Þórshöfn.
