Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hartvig Ívarsson got the match started through his kick off. Sigmann Hansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hartvig Ívarsson in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bláu Kallarnir's goalkeeper Sigmann Hansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valmundur Ísólfsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigmann Hansson having to interfere. Sigmann Hansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valmundur Ísólfsson in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Valmundur Ísólfsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bláu Kallarnir's Sigmann Hansson. Sigmann Hansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sigmann Hansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hartvig Ívarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdemar Óskarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubbi Árbjartsson having to interfere. The supporters of Bláu Kallarnir booed when Straumar Hellu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörmundur Elíasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubbi Árbjartsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Þórsteinn Eiðsson in the 44th minute of play. Hartvig Ívarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigmann Hansson having to interfere. Sigmann Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valmundur Ísólfsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Þórsteinn Eiðsson was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Straumar Hellu's Hartvig Ívarsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sigmann Hansson. That made the score 0-2 after 63 minutes of play. After 69 minutes of play, Bláu Kallarnir's Valdemar Óskarsson made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ubbi Árbjartsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valdemar Óskarsson struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ubbi Árbjartsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bláu Kallarnir. Valmundur Ísólfsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigmann Hansson having to interfere. Sigmann Hansson made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Valmundur Ísólfsson sent off a good shot on target. Hartvig Ívarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubbi Árbjartsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Þórsteinn Eiðsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes Straumar Hellu got a freekick which was hit by Jörmundur Elíasson. Ubbi Árbjartsson came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Bláu Kallarnir's Valdemar Óskarsson. But to his dismay, Valdemar Óskarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Straumar Hellu were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Bláu Kallarnir to leave the ground with a draw.
