The audience thought a goal was coming when Valmundur Ísólfsson got free with Snjólfur Bjarmarsson in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Straumar Hellu booed when Antik Flatey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ölvir Hinriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Snjólfur Bjarmarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Snjólfur Bjarmarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hartvig Ívarsson in the 70th minute of the match. Ubbi Árbjartsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaki Andrason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaki Andrason kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Straumar Hellu's Steinfinnur Finnbogason got a free kick in the 96th minute. Úlfgeir Hallvarðsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubbi Árbjartsson having to interfere. Antik Flatey were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Straumar Hellu's much stronger midfield.
