Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Örlaugur Theódórsson kicked off to start the match. Rekan Súðavík's Hróðgeir Greipsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bergþór Borgþórsson in the 5th minute of play. Rekan Súðavík's Hartmann Albertsson got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Höldur's Jónmundur Svanbergsson got a free kick in the 7th minute. Hergill Gautsson hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Örlaugur Theódórsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flóki Daníelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes, Kristmar Arnþórsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Höldur and the Rekan Súðavík players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kristmar Arnþórsson kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Bjólan Davíðsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hróðgeir Greipsson skillfully saved the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Rekan Súðavík was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sólbergur Finnbjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Bergþór Borgþórsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hróðgeir Greipsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match Bjólan Davíðsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hróðgeir Greipsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Höldur's Bergþór Borgþórsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hróðgeir Greipsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Þórgnýr Bjarmason might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hróðgeir Greipsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Þórgnýr Bjarmason ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hartmann Albertsson struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Flóki Daníelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rekan Súðavík. Emanúel Valbergsson charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanúel Valbergsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Höldur's Emanúel Valbergsson got a free kick in the 55th minute. Rekan Súðavík were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Höldur's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hendrik Svanbergsson took the corner. Flóki Daníelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Örlaugur Theódórsson's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hartmann Albertsson in the 60th minute of play forced Höldur's goalkeeper Flóki Daníelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hróðgeir Greipsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bergþór Borgþórsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hendrik Svanbergsson hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Bergþór Borgþórsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Hróðgeir Greipsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Hergill Gautsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rekan Súðavík's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hergill Gautsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 79 minutes, Dalvin Lárusson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Höldur and the Rekan Súðavík players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Höldur getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Dalvin Lárusson hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, Rekan Súðavík was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rósinberg Fannarsson to maneuver through the defense. Flóki Daníelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hartmann Albertsson in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Rekan Súðavík's Örlaugur Theódórsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flóki Daníelsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Höldur's Bergþór Borgþórsson in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rekan Súðavík's goalie prevented a goal. Höldur played a much better game than Rekan Súðavík and deserved their victory. The Rekan Súðavík players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
