Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kolur Sindrason got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dósóþeus Bjarnason in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bergþór Magnússon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, KFS Suðureyri's Ingvar Ingimundarson got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th match minute, Lín Kjörvogi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hallsteinn Rafnsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 8thth minute of the game Kolur Sindrason who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lín Kjörvogi's Eldar Axelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lín Kjörvogi's Eldar Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kolur Sindrason in the 9th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Dósóþeus Bjarnason notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of KFS Suðureyri's Bergþór Magnússon . Bergþór Magnússon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dósóþeus Bjarnason kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Bergþór Magnússon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dósóþeus Bjarnason in the 23rd minute of the match. Uggi Eyþórsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bergþór Magnússon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnólfur Dalmarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 32 minutes, Dósóþeus Bjarnason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lín Kjörvogi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dósóþeus Bjarnason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Kolur Sindrason recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eldar Axelsson. Kolur Sindrason showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The supporters of Lín Kjörvogi booed when KFS Suðureyri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Búi Júlíansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lín Kjörvogi's Dósóþeus Bjarnason in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 47th minute of the match Steinkell Davíðsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bergþór Magnússon skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dósóþeus Bjarnason stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Ásbergur Hásteinsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFS Suðureyri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lín Kjörvogi the free kick. Ásbergur Hásteinsson hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Dósóþeus Bjarnason managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lín Kjörvogi's supporters rose to their feet, but Dósóþeus Bjarnason was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bergþór Magnússon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uggi Eyþórsson in the 55th minute of play forced KFS Suðureyri's goalkeeper Bergþór Magnússon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Dósóþeus Bjarnason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lín Kjörvogi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dósóþeus Bjarnason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Dósóþeus Bjarnason sped through KFS Suðureyri's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bergþór Magnússon . 70 minutes into the game, Jónsteinn Karlsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Eldar Axelsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the last second Bergþór Magnússon throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dósóþeus Bjarnason in the 80thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience was convinced that Dósóþeus Bjarnason's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bergþór Magnússon was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Uggi Eyþórsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jónsteinn Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Dósóþeus Bjarnason's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bergþór Magnússon was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Gunnólfur Dalmarsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Bergþór Magnússon however easily saved by the left post. After 90 minutes, Nils Hjörvarsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFS Suðureyri and the Lín Kjörvogi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lín Kjörvogi booed when KFS Suðureyri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Hjörvarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jónsteinn Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dósóþeus Bjarnason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lín Kjörvogi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
