Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kiljan Valbergsson started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Borgþór Georgsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sváfnir Hásteinsson to make any attempt to save it. Jóann Sindrason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steinn Bjarmason having to interfere. Jóann Sindrason struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Steinn Bjarmason didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crystals. When Loki Jónasson came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Sztorm Keflavik FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loki Jónasson couldn't finish the play. Sváfnir Hásteinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steinröður Hansson in the 10th minute of play. When Tístran Bjargmundarson fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crystals's protests and gave Tístran Bjargmundarson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Crystals's Tístran Bjargmundarson got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 14 minutes Crystals's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Þorbjörn Guðjónsson who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Þorbjörn Guðjónsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sváfnir Hásteinsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sváfnir Hásteinsson made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Loki Jónasson sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Loki Jónasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 minutes of play, Sztorm Keflavik FC's Loki Jónasson made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sváfnir Hásteinsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jóann Sindrason scored 4-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steinn Bjarmason, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Borgþór Georgsson hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Tístran Bjargmundarson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sváfnir Hásteinsson made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Steinröður Hansson sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Crystals's Sváfnir Hásteinsson got control of the ball when Loki Jónasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Steinröður Hansson made the kick off in the second half. If Tístran Bjargmundarson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Crystals getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Viktor Elbertsson hit a great ball. When Loki Jónasson fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sztorm Keflavik FC's protests and gave Loki Jónasson a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Sztorm Keflavik FC got a freekick which was hit by Loki Jónasson. Jóann Sindrason was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Borgþór Georgsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 60 minutes of play, Sztorm Keflavik FC's Loki Jónasson made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sváfnir Hásteinsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the game, Sztorm Keflavik FC's Loki Jónasson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sváfnir Hásteinsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Kiljan Valbergsson succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-2. Sváfnir Hásteinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steinröður Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Loki Jónasson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sváfnir Hásteinsson. Crystals's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loki Jónasson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. Crystals's Sváfnir Hásteinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borgþór Georgsson in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steinröður Hansson in the 81st minute of play forced Crystals's goalkeeper Sváfnir Hásteinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Sztorm Keflavik FC's Oliver Adolfsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sváfnir Hásteinsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Sztorm Keflavik FC's Oliver Adolfsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sváfnir Hásteinsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-2. 87 minutes into the match, Crystals's goal looked a bit too open when Steinröður Hansson came free, but Sváfnir Hásteinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Loki Jónasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 89 minutes into the match, Steinröður Hansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sváfnir Hásteinsson. Crystals's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steinröður Hansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-2. After a defensive mix-up in Sztorm Keflavik FC's zone, Kiljan Valbergsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steinn Bjarmason came out of the goal and Kiljan Valbergsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sztorm Keflavik FC had won after a very even match.
