An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Jančić in the 4th minute of play forced Gornji Stupanj OFK's goalkeeper Koča Zlatanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Borislav Negovanović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Koča Zlatanović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Jančić in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Srnić in the 16th minute of play forced Vlaška FK's goalkeeper Jadranko Vukadinović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Ivko Mirkov suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Njegoje Lazičić's late challenge caught a Gornji Stupanj OFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Njegoje Lazičić helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Vlaška FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Jančić to maneuver through the defense. Milojko Jovandić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jadranko Vukadinović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Živomir Jovanović notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Vlaška FK's Jadranko Vukadinović. Jadranko Vukadinović was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute, Borislav Negovanović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Ivan Jančić made a precise shot to the right of Koča Zlatanović. Gornji Stupanj OFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Perun Novović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perun Novović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bogdan Srnić fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gornji Stupanj OFK's protests and gave Bogdan Srnić a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Gornji Stupanj OFK got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Srnić. Gornji Stupanj OFK's Koča Zlatanović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Gornji Stupanj OFK from getting a goal against them. Koča Zlatanović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perun Novović, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th match minute, Gornji Stupanj OFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Željko Kahriman to maneuver through the defense. Gornji Stupanj OFK's Koča Zlatanović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perun Novović in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gornji Stupanj OFK's Živomir Jovanović got a free kick in the 74th minute. A collision led to Gornji Stupanj OFK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bogdan Srnić hit a great ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Ivan Jančić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vlaška FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Jančić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Perun Novović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Koča Zlatanović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jadranko Vukadinović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borislav Negovanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Gornji Stupanj OFK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vlaška FK for a fine match.
