After 3 minutes, Kirilo Markus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zemun FK and the Kragujevac FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Zemun FK got a freekick which was hit by Kirilo Markus. In the 4th match minute, Zemun FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miomir Jočić to maneuver through the defense. Novak Marjanović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Jovasević in the 6th minute of play. If Igor Alibabić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodoljub Spalević charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodoljub Spalević the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodoljub Spalević hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Zemun FK's Vuk Stojčić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dojčilo Vidosavljević narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vuk Stojčić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dojčilo Vidosavljević having to make a save. In the 23rd minute, Vuk Stojčić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zemun FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Stevan Smiljanić charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stevan Smiljanić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Kragujevac FK got a freekick which was hit by Stevan Smiljanić. Vuk Stojčić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dojčilo Vidosavljević having to interfere. Novak Marjanović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Jovasević in the 38th minute of the match. Dojčilo Vidosavljević took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vuk Stojčić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vuk Stojčić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dojčilo Vidosavljević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Vladimir Jovasević made the kick off in the second half. If Vuk Stojčić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Jovasević in the 59th minute of play forced Zemun FK's goalkeeper Novak Marjanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Kragujevac FK booed when Zemun FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kirilo Markus didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Kragujevac FK's goal looked a bit too open when Vuk Stojčić came free, but Dojčilo Vidosavljević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimir Jovasević got free with Novak Marjanović in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Igor Alibabić came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Kragujevac FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Alibabić couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the game, one of Zemun FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kragujevac FK! The referee gave Zemun FK a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Miomir Jočić, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kragujevac FK's Dojčilo Vidosavljević. 2-1. Dojčilo Vidosavljević showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cvijan Cvetičanin in the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Kragujevac FK booed when Zemun FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zlatosav Bašić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zemun FK's Novak Marjanović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goran Mandić in the 91st minute of play. In the 98th minute, Vuk Stojčić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
