In the 66th match minute, Omoljica OFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goran Karličić to maneuver through the defense. Novi Beograd's Veselin Kolundžija was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filip Baštovanov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Živan Sokić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Omoljica OFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Živan Sokić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Živko Vasić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Omoljica OFK's goal looked a bit too open when Veselin Kolundžija came free, but Filip Baštovanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omoljica OFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Novi Beograd the free kick. In the 94th minute, Nemanja Rajić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Omoljica OFK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Omoljica OFK may have spent more time on the ball, but Novi Beograd were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
