Žarko Pjetrović started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, David Šćekić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vukašin Savićević struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Nestor Jovetić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Šid. Bojan Rnjaković charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Nestor Jovetić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vukašin Savićević's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After 13 played minutes Šid got a freekick which was hit by Miroslav Malenović. In the 22nd match minute, Šid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslav Malenović to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Radoman Koljanović in the 23rd minute really tested Zdravko Nikolajević's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Zdravko Nikolajević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Jelenić in the 29th minute of play. If Emil Jelenić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Emil Jelenić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdravko Nikolajević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Relja Vojisavljević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Šid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kobišnjica FK the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Emil Jelenić kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zdravko Nikolajević. That made the score 1-1 in the 47 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emil Jelenić made a kick off. Žarko Pjetrović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute, Radivoj Rajević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivica Milivojević didn't quite understand what happened when in the 64 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After a rather tough play, Kobišnjica FK's Relja Vojisavljević got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Šid's Zdravko Nikolajević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Relja Vojisavljević in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kobišnjica FK's zone, Vukašin Savićević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Jovetić came out of the goal and Vukašin Savićević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
