The supporters of Svilajnac OFK booed when Padinska Skela OFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duško Muskinja didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Blaža Janković got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivo Nuradinović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitrije Miok in the 13th minute of play forced Svilajnac OFK's goalkeeper Stanko Mirković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Svilajnac OFK's zone, Ivo Nuradinović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanko Mirković came out of the goal and Ivo Nuradinović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Velibor Perišić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blaža Janković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Svilajnac OFK booed when Padinska Skela OFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Živadin Dobrijević didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanko Mirković showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Nuradinović in the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Ivica Stoilović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Svilajnac OFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Padinska Skela OFK the free kick. Padinska Skela OFK's Velibor Perišić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blaža Janković in the 26th minute of play. Živadin Dobrijević hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodoljub Stojadinović got free with Velibor Perišić in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Dimitrije Miok's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanko Mirković was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After having played for 31 minutes, Blaža Janković managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svilajnac OFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blaža Janković was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Velibor Perišić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodoljub Stojadinović in the 33rd minute. Rodoljub Stojadinović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute Svilajnac OFK were awarded a corner. Kamenko Višekruna went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Kamenko Višekruna got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Velibor Perišić quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dimitrije Miok to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Živadin Dobrijević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Padinska Skela OFK's zone, Blaža Janković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Velibor Perišić came out of the goal and Blaža Janković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Ivo Nuradinović notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Svilajnac OFK's Stanko Mirković. Stanko Mirković was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dimitrije Miok received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Stanko Mirković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dimitrije Miok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kamenko Višekruna fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Svilajnac OFK's protests and gave Kamenko Višekruna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, one of Svilajnac OFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Svilajnac OFK. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Dimitrije Miok got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ivo Nuradinović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanko Mirković having to interfere. Velibor Perišić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodoljub Stojadinović went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The Padinska Skela OFK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Padinska Skela OFK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
