The audience thought a goal was coming when Slobodan Petrović got free with Dragiša Tepavčević in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Goran Mirić kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Draža Batić took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dragiša Tepavčević. Torda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Velisav Stoiljković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dragiša Tepavčević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Torda's zone, Slobodan Petrović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragiša Tepavčević came out of the goal and Slobodan Petrović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dušan Ikić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Svetozar Aleksić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dragiša Tepavčević took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svetozar Aleksić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svetozar Aleksić in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dragiša Tepavčević saved Torda from getting behind. Svetozar Aleksić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dragiša Tepavčević read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Osanica's Velisav Stoiljković got a free kick in the 58th minute. Dragić Čonić struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Metodije Matijević didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torda. If Dejan Nikolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Svetozar Aleksić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragiša Tepavčević having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Slobodan Petrović managed to get in a good position for a shot. Osanica's supporters rose to their feet, but Slobodan Petrović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dragiša Tepavčević breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dragiša Tepavčević showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svetozar Aleksić in the 74th minute of the match. With his leg Metodije Matijević managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Torda's Dragić Čonić fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dragiša Tepavčević didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Slobodan Petrović went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.
