Trifko Rnjaković took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vojislav Žakula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Sibin Petaković kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Trifko Rnjaković. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Trifko Rnjaković made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Ostoja Radosavljević sent off a good shot on target. Luka Prtenjak's late challenge caught a Barajevo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luka Prtenjak helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Vojislav Žakula's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trifko Rnjaković was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ostoja Radosavljević in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trifko Rnjaković prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Turija getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ilija Krivokapić hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Turija's Mileta Kutlačić got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Ostoja Radosavljević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilija Krivokapić hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Ostoja Radosavljević managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barajevo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ostoja Radosavljević was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Ilija Krivokapić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Turija's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barajevo the free kick. A collision led to Turija getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ilija Krivokapić hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Vojislav Žakula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trifko Rnjaković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Trifko Rnjaković successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Živanko Čolaković was the one to do the kick off. Mileta Kutlačić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ðorđe Stolić made a huge save. Turija's Mileta Kutlačić got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ostoja Radosavljević came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Barajevo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ostoja Radosavljević couldn't finish the play. Justin Spalević's late challenge caught a Barajevo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justin Spalević helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Justin Spalević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vojislav Žakula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Trifko Rnjaković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dragoljub Popadić kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Mileta Kutlačić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Turija's Dobrivoj Baletić got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barajevo's goalkeeper Ðorđe Stolić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 76 played minutes Barajevo got a freekick which was hit by Njegoslav Cvetanović. Mileta Kutlačić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ðorđe Stolić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mileta Kutlačić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ðorđe Stolić having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Barajevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Njegoslav Cvetanović to maneuver through the defense.
