Predrag Nurković started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Ratko Divjak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Krsta Gavarić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Draško Kendija. Pirot's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krsta Gavarić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Drugovac FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Stefan Knežević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darko Pjevac charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darko Pjevac the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Drugovac FK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Darko Pjevac hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Drugovac FK's goalkeeper Aleksandar Pavlović had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Knežević. If Krsta Gavarić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Pirot:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Drugovac FK:s goal. Draško Kendija went to the wrong direction when Momčilo Mrđanin was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Krsta Gavarić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Draško Kendija showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Predrag Nurković in the 36th minute of the match. Krsta Gavarić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Draško Kendija having to interfere. Draško Kendija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Predrag Nurković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Predrag Nurković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute, Stefan Knežević got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Knežević got free with Aleksandar Pavlović in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Pirot players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Drugovac FK were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luka Bekan made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Drugovac FK's zone, Luka Bekan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleksandar Pavlović came out of the goal and Luka Bekan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Predrag Nurković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Pirot's goalkeeper Draško Kendija had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krsta Gavarić. Pirot's Stefan Knežević got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Predrag Nurković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Draško Kendija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Drugovac FK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Borivoj Tomanić hit a great ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pirot's goalkeeper Draško Kendija, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivica Branković kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Krsta Gavarić struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Draško Kendija didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drugovac FK. Predrag Nurković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Drugovac FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pirot throughout the match.
