In the 22nd minute, Stanoje Gligić sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sonta FK's Desimir Korov didn't even have to move. 25 minutes into the match, Sonta FK's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Grnčarski came free, but Desimir Korov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ljubinko Terzić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desimir Korov having to interfere. When Živadin Sovilj fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sonta FK's protests and gave Živadin Sovilj a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 29 minutes, Ljubinko Terzić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leskovac's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ljubinko Terzić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radojica Dinčić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goran Križmanić having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Isak Grnčarski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ljubinko Terzić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leskovac's supporters rose to their feet, but Ljubinko Terzić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desimir Korov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isak Grnčarski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ljubinko Terzić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ljubinko Terzić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isak Grnčarski couldn't finish the play. Ljubinko Terzić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
